About The Institute for Human Services, Inc.

The Institute for Human Services, Inc. (IHS) is a nonprofit advocate serving the Southern Tier. Our goal is to support our member organizations through capacity building, governance, and operations support; strategic collaboration and communication between member and non-member organizations; professional development and conferences aimed at organizational sustainability; and coordination of programs and services that enhance the capacity for other organizations. IHS provides services such as the 2-1-1 HELPLINE, Steuben Rural Health Network, Coordinated Transportation Services, Resource Development, and Lead Agency Services as a capacity building, information, and referral opportunity for our member organizations.
