The Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU) is a private higher education institution in Lviv, Ukraine, affiliated with the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. Established in 1928 as the Greek Catholic Theological Academy by Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky, it was re-established in 1994 and formally refounded as UCU in 2002.
